FAQs & Support
General FAQs
Will my regulators fit SGS Cylinders?
Our cylinders are the standard 5/8″ BSP fitting used on almost all industrial gas cylinders in the UK. However a CO2 regulator will not fit a CO2/Argon Cylinder.
Do I need an account?
No, not at all, our cylinders are available over the counter in any of our distributors.
What will it cost?
Our cylinders all have a fully refundable deposit which is paid on the first cylinder purchased and will be reimbursed in full if the cylinder is no longer required and surrendered. As all of our cylinders are sold through a distributor network, you must contact a distributor for full pricing and availability. These can be found in a list view or map view.
Can I download your MSDS for a COSHH assessment?
Yes you can, just click the appropriate link below to download a .pdf file!

Are you using appropriate pressures?
For Brazing/Heating
- Recommended working pressures on the Pro Fuel regulator are 5 – 7 psi.
- Recommended working pressure on the Oxygen regulator is 7 – 10 psi.
For Cutting
- Recommended working pressures on the Pro Fuel regulator are 5 – 7psi.
- Recommended working pressure on the Oxygen regulator is 15-25 psi.
If the Pro Fuel is turned up too high on the regulator, it will blow the flame out when attempting to ignite.
